The Inclusive Access Program bundles the cost of digital course materials into tuition and fees, offering them at or below market rates to help students save. Materials are available in Canvas starting the first day of class. For most courses, a discounted loose-leaf textbook is also available at the College Store for students who prefer a physical copy.
Inclusive Access Program – Key Information
📘 Accessing Your Course Materials
Digital materials (e-books, assignments, etc.) are available in Canvas starting the first day of class. Check course announcements for details. For help locating materials, contact your instructor.
💲 Digital Access Fee
Courses using Inclusive Access include a DIGAC fee at registration. This discounted fee covers required digital materials and is billed directly to your account.
🔁 Continuation Courses
Courses like ACC-120/121 and CHM-151/152 are billed per semester, saving you money compared to older multi-term codes.
🚪 Opt-Out Option
You may opt out of Inclusive Access on a course-by-course basis and purchase materials elsewhere.
Important: Most courses use publisher courseware that’s graded. Confirm with your instructor before opting out. Physical bundles with courseware are typically more expensive. To opt out, visit the College Store and complete the required form.
Deadlines vary by course length. Mistaken opt-outs can be reversed before the deadline.
🎓 Financial Aid & Dual Enrollment
Some aid programs (e.g., GI Bill) don’t cover course material fees. You must pay the fee to remain in good standing. Dual Enrolled students (Career & College Promise) must also pay the fee.
