Course Materials Deadlines
The bookstore requires departments to submit all of their course material requirements including OER and "no text required" by the following approximate due dates each term:
Summer Term - Due by February 13th
Fall Term- Due by February 13th
Spring Term - Due by October 1st
Please note: Late course information increases the risk the materials will not be available on the first day of class.

Course Material Answers for Faculty
Why do I need to submit my textbook / course material information so early?
The Higher Education Opportunity Act gives students the legal right to this information at the time they register for classes. The College also needs this information to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. On-time textbook/course material information also helps save student money.
What if I have to submit information or make changes after the deadlines?
We are here to help you and the students any way we can. Please complete this request form, your Division Chair will need to approve the request. However, there are some cases where we simply cannot accept late changes. We will notify you once a decision has been finalized.
How do I submit my course material information?
Information should be submitted through Collect, our digital adoptions platform. Unless otherwise approved, Department Heads will submit adoption information and should receive an email with when a new adoption collection period opens.
What if I require non-text items such as supplies or software?
You will be able to add non-text items through Collect. All items listed on the syllabus should be submitted as an adoption.
Why should I use the campus bookstore?
The College Store is here to assist the faculty, students, and staff at Coastal Carolina Community College. Every purchase directly benefits the students, from student scholarships to program improvements. We are able to assist with last minute changes and assist one-on-one when problems arise.
We also maintain the required database of information on all course materials including OER and “no text required.”Forms
Adoption Changes after Formal Adoption Period - This form should be utilized when a course needs to change an adoption after the adoption period has closed. All requests will be submitted to the appropriate Division Chair for approval.

CE Adoption Form - This form should be utilized when a course needs to update the adoption used for instruction. The bookstore assumes that a particular course uses the same adoption until we are notified of a change via this form.
CDL Books and Supplies - This form is used to request the bookstore to order additional books and supply materials to replenish the classroom set.
CDL Clothing Order - This form is used to request student PPE
